It is the pumkin season so I made some pumkin Characters for my Grandchildern.
I used my LK-150 knitting machine and a G crochet hook. I cast on 41 stitches, and knit 30 rows. I converted every 5 stitch.
Arms and legs- Cast on 4 stitches and Cord 40 rows.
Top- Cast on 6 stitches and Cord 5 rows.
I crocheted each three triangles for the eyes and nose-
Eyes- chain 5, turn, single stitch 2 together, single in the next two. Turn and single crochet the next two together, and single in the next one, turn. Single crochet the next two stitches together and fasten off. Leave long enough yarn for sewing on.
Nose- chain 4, turn single stitch 2 together, single in the next one. Turn and single crochet the next two stitches together and fasten off, leaving long enough yarn for sewing on.
Mouth- Chain 10, skip one chain, slip stitch in the next three, chain three, and slip stitch in the same stitch. Slip stitch in the next three, chain three, and slip stitch in the same stitch. Slip stitch in the next three. Fasten off and leave long enough yarn for sewing on.
Sew the pumkin together, pull legs through where you want them. Sew on mouth and nose. Start stuffing , pull arms through where you want them, sew on eyes, finish stuffing. Close top and add the top, you might want to add a little stuffing to the top.
