BRRrrrrrrr it is getting cold

Weather is perfect for crocheting a nice warm blanket. It has went from rain to snow. One of my yahoo groups are discussing the pillowghan (spelling). It sounds wonderful. I think that is what I am going to start crocheting this afternoon. Since we have moved we have long commutes to work. I think we need some afghans for the cars and these sound like the perfect fit. Plus they will be nice and warm for watching T.V. LOL

Always the Student

Well I tried my first picture and see that I need to learn a lot more about doing this stuff. Feel free to give me some instructions on how to do this better.
Well at least I have found most of my yarn stored in the garage during our move. Still have to find my needles and patterns. Need to organize and set up an area.

Gift for my Mom's Birthday a few years ago. 

Still have not finished unpacking. Haven't found my UFOs. But I need to do something so I have started crocheting dishclothes. Mainly need them as I haven't yet unpacked my others either.
I think I am having a little to much fun playing with this blog and learning how to make it work. LOL

Life is full of learning

Monday night was UFO nite. Not flying Saucers unfinished objects. Which of course I didn't get to as I have not unpacked them. Am trying to figure out how to place pictures on here of things I have made in the past that have not been given away. Bear with me as I learn how to do this.

As the New Year Begins

I am wishing everyone is having a great day at the beginning of a new year. I am enjoying my time with my children and grandchildren as they will go back home and start school next week. I have been reading email from a few of my yahoo groups that have made new years resolutions to organize, and make journals about their crafts. I know that these are great Ideas and will do the same as I unpack from my move we did over the Christmas Holiday. And as I learn about this blogging and learn how to add pics and things I should say this is going to be a very great year. Looking forward to sharing and learning from all.

Beginnings

New to blogging so please bear with me as I stumble along and learn something new. My favorite craft is Crocheting, and after that it is Knitting, and I am learning to Weave this new year.
