Afghans

Here is the picture he has chosen. Help in converting this into a coloring page format. To make it into a 2 color Afghan.

The word for today is "GRID" You may have to play around with a grid to match the knit stitches.

How are you knitting it by hand or machine? I thinking duplicate stitch after you've completed the background, or Intargia knitting while you make it.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I couldn't find your blog. I got it bookmarked now. Knitting the character separately would be a challenge. I still think Intarsia (I spelled it wrong in the first comment) is the best way to create the image. The more I look at that guy, the more I think of running out of the room. Try making a grid of the face, if you have scanner to print from it would help with the enlarging. One square on the grid would be so many stitche and rows.
